Depending on your circumstances, the likelihood is you’re going to want to speak to a lender to get pre-approved for the next home you want to buy.
Your agent will be able to ascertain how much equity you have in your current home, so you know how much you can afford for your next.

A home move is one of the biggest events of your life — so you want to understand what you're doing, right?
Between your realtor, your lender, your real estate attorney (if you're using one) and your title agent, they should be educating you and empowering you with knowledge so you feel confident you're making the right decisions.
There’s many parts to selling a home:
✅ Prepping your home for market (will you hire home stagers? What do you need to declutter? Should you make any repairs or renovations?!)
✅ Pricing your home (will you price it above market value, under, or AT market value? And just exactly WHAT is “market value”?!)
✅ Accepting an offer (what if you have 10?! How will you choose? What terms are best?)
✅ Negotiating (what is reasonable?)
✅ Moving day + closing day (what happens?! How clean should I leave the home? What should I leave behind?)
With all these considerations, you’ll want to hire a trusted hyperlocal real estate agent, mortgage lender and attorney to guide you through.
