As first time buyers, we had no idea what to expect but Pip made the whole process as simple and as stress-free as possible. Somehow the whole thing happened so quickly... this was only the second home we viewed, and we knew immediately we wanted to put an offer in. We had NO idea what to offer but Pip took the time to go through with us what similar homes were selling for in the area. He helped us come to a competitive offer, but we felt comfortable we weren't overpaying. He shared with us the offer presentation he'd created which was really impressive and it clearly impressed the seller too, because they accepted our offer (and there were multiple other offers). After that it was all go go go but Pip sent through a checklist so we had a timeline of everything we needed to do from that point on, and he walked us through the home inspection and made it seem less scary. Closing day arrived before we knew it and suddenly we had the keys! Thanks Pip for all your hard work, helping get us into our very first home.
Fantastic agency, helped me find the perfect place in the toughest buyer’s market of my lifetime. They helped guide me through a deal that went south (legal issues on the seller’s end) and stuck with me as the market got even crazier. Ask for Melisa Anderson! Talk about patience...Jeremiah worked with us for over a year to find our home. The 55 and over market was booming, and prices were going through the roof and cash offers were flying left and right. Our heads were spinning. But all through this was a little voice that kept telling us to be calm and the right one will come when you least expect it. And he was right! On a cold December evening, Jeremiah got us to be the first people to see the home. We emailed him an offer a few hours later and he went to work to advocate for us and by the second day, we were under contract. That can only be done with a realtor who knows the industry, knows the market and cares about their clients. Being a first time home buyer can be stressful and daunting. You hear stories from other people so you put it off. But by luck and chance I ran across a few listings from Hilary Ettenson and the JFKLiving team. All I can say is that from the first moment I met Hilary I knew she had my back. She took the time to get to know what I wanted in a home. She made the process straight forward and easy. Once I had settled on a home she walked me through the process not only with her videos but with text messages and phone calls. Also, her recommendations for an attorney, homeowners insurance, inspectors and title agency were all on point. I purchased a home with Pip back in 2018. I was moving from PA, didn’t know any realtors in NJ, and Zillow connected me with Pip. From our very first conversation Pip was an absolute delight. Being a third time home buyer, I’ve had a good amount of previous experience with realtors and the home buying process. Purchasing a new home can be exciting, stressful, and tedious – Pip was communicative and supportive every step of the way. After getting an offer accepted and signing the contract – I called him in a panic early the next morning saying I felt I made a mistake and was paying far more than the house was worth. While this may have frustrated some, I didn’t feel any sort of frustration from Pip. He & I talked through it, ultimately withdrew the offer and kept on the search. He found me the perfect home and the rest is history. Pip has stayed in touch over the years, and I see him and the JFKLiving team around town at local events and such. It’s been really great to see how the JFKLiving team has expanded their presence in the area, and I couldn’t recommend Jeremiah, Pip, and the JFKLiving team more – they’re a great group.
Since we met and explained our criteria Mel shortlisted amazing houses according to our needs and we are very satisfied and liked almost all houses what we had seen. Every house was unique and felt like it's made for us only 🙂. Mel was hand holding through out the process until we moved in... with honest opinions, suggestions and transparency we were getting confident at each stages of the entire process. My husband and I have been house hunting since earlier this year. We are from Brooklyn, NY and we were originally looking in Long Island. Unfortunately, we were not successful. We decided to switch locations. I found Brooke from JFKLiving on Zillow and boy was I glad that I did. Adam Valone reviewWe had an amazing opportunity to work with Adam Valone on finding our dream house. He listened to our criteria and made some recommendations that we never thought to consider. He created a portal and highlighted houses for us to look into and broke down a rough order of magnitude for down payment, closing costs, and monthly payments. We added comments of our likes/dislikes and we met to review the list. At the time we had specific locations we were interested in, but from our comments Adam recommended opening the search more. Once we did that we were able to narrow down the list for houses to see. Adam spent an entire day with us looking at houses and giving us insight throughout the process.
